Rules
General:
- This tournament will be 2vs2 on Counter-Strike 1.6 (Only Steam version).
- All participants of the tournament must abide by these rules.
- UGC reserves the right to modify and update these rules at any time. It is the responsibility of the participants to check this page regularly for updates.
- Teams exist out of 2 players. It is not allowed to add new players in the team.
- Cheating or using scripts during the tournament will result in a permanent ban from all UGC servers.
- A player who is banned from UGC servers, is not allowed to participate the tournament.
- All matches will be decided in a best-of-three system, where a clan must win two maps before being declared victorious.
- Tournament admins schedule the maps that will be played.
- Participants must show mutual respect to each other and to the staff present. Any form of insults or provocations will get sanctioned
- At least one player from each team need to be on the tournament Discord server. This server will be used as communication between tournament admins and players.
In-game:
- If a team is not complete 15 minutes after the scheduled time, they will lose by forfeit.
- A knife round will be used to determine which team plays as Counter-Terrorist or Terrorist.
- The standard game is 24 rounds (12 rounds CT - 12 rounds T) = MR12.
- The team who reach 13 rounds first will win the game.
- In case of a draw (12-12), an overtime will be played with 1 round of sudden death. The team that wins this round will win the match. (Teams stay on the same side as they ended the second half).
- When a player in team X got caught cheating during a match, team X will lose their match with a forfeit score.
- Matches will be streamed on Twitch by an official UGC streamer. (120 seconds delay)
- In case there is no stream available, everyone can check HLTV server (ip: TBA)
Server problems:
- In the event of a server crash, the match will be restarted, and the scores will be reset unless the tournament manager monitoring the match can provide evidence of the score prior to the crash..
- If the problem cannot be resolved in a reasonable amount of time, the match may be replayed or a rematch scheduled.
- Any form of abuse or exploitation of technical problems will result in disqualification from the tournament.
- Administrators reserve the right to take necessary actions to resolve any technical problems encountered.
