Adding one of such plugins, to limit, manage or help adjust ping users joining the game would be awesome.

For example, rather than staff having to take additional report for a lagging user, they could rely on an automatic system that could easily handle it without any human interaction.

I.e., IF PLAYER is > 150 MS > kick (reason)

I am sure that the limit can be adjusted between staff

- Prevents 200-300+ ms disadvantage / advantage users have
- Harmless to implement
- Helps prevent fake-lag
- Helps prevent net limiter abuse
& Much more.

Similar thing is used in CS side of UGC, where if a player is afk too long in spec, or in-game they get kicked (just a reference) which works well.

My only issue here is I play on 250 - 350ms depending on what server due to being Australian. Implementing a plugin that kicks around 150 - 450ms would cause players to be kicked rending them unable to play on UGC servers.

You could implement geo-alike lifts. For example - User joins from (<List of countries>) I.e., Australia and can be exempt for that specific group for ping. Yes it would seem to be unfair although it is an idea, but in my opinion I specifically wrote this suggestion due to seeing 1000 ms players on UGC servers being more than a rarity now. Thus I would like to suggest a trial of such plugin(s) starting from 1000ms or 500ms which still helps a lot because realistically no matter where you are on the planet 500 ms is higher than usual.

Hello,

At this time we have no intent on adding a ping limiter to our servers for a variety of reasons and technical limitations
Do note we will take action on players that are lagging excessively per our rules, of which what is considered excessive is determined by staff on a case-by-case basis

Thank you for the suggestion
