TF2 Suggestion Declined Friendly Plugin on Trade Servers

To be honest, a friendly plugin is needed so you can have fun and party with other people without being killed. Of course, it won't allow you to use your weapons while you're in Friendly Mode, so you'd have to disable it and respawn.

There are plugins on SourceMod for Friendly commands, which enable Friendly Mode and highlight your character in green so that people know the difference between normal and friendly players. They should be simple plugins that can be added on servers and shouldn't require any configs or scripts.

I'm mainly suggesting this because people tend to complain a lot whenever they are killed while dancing, so this would be a saving grace for those would-be friendly players that are just trying to get away from sweats and trolls.

We had it as a test just a couple weeks ago, way to many bugs and exploits where able to be done with it. We will add it back but not until we have fixed the exploit and bug problems coming with it. There is no ETA when

What kind of bugs? The one I know so far is that it still won't allow you to shoot your weapons even when you disable it and respawn. But it's not something that happens very often.

Vips being able to use our Vip weapons while in /Friendly - being able to use /car - block snipers that aren't in /friendly to be unkillable. So yes its a lot of exploits - bugs remaining with the Plugin and what i have mentioned is just a few of them. Friendly plugin wont be added back until the problems with it is fixed, as i said before there will be no ETA on when it will be added back
