TF2 Resolved All TF2 UGC Minecraft servers keep crashing.

Whenever I join a UGC Minecraft server, whether it's neon or not, it just crashes and I have to use task manager in ANOTHER DESKTOP WINDOW to close TF2, Ive already tried clearing my config, verifying game files. and clearing my custom folder and yet nothing has worked. I love these trade servers, and I just hope to be able to play them again, below is an example.

Have you tried reinstalling TF2?

Also, it would be beneficial if you were to try joining other Minecraft servers, like Skial or Blackwonder, to see if you crash on those as well, so we could narrow down the issue further.

As to our knowledge only you are experiencing this issue, it leads us to believe it's a problem on your end not the servers. With that in mind as Forest mentioned we'd suggest completely uninstalling and reinstalling TF2 as that process is different than just verifying files. Additionally we suggest for testing purposes clearing your tf/custom folder as well as deleting the map file from your tf/downloads/maps folder.

I did, and it fixed the problem, until I closed and reopened the game, then the problem began to persist in the same servers.

Ive already done these as stated in the initial post, and more has happened, every custom map seems to not work, ive already cleared EVERYTHING that is related to tf2, clearing my config, maps, verifying files, etc.

Maybe you could try running Steam with administrator privileges, or turning off/letting Steam or the game through your firewall.

Did this issue occur after the summer update, or just come in randomly? Do you remember if you modified any of the game/system files before your issue?

Resolved in discord, we suspect the Millennium steam reskin was causing issues
